Due to the current Covid-19 lockdowns, increased number of parcels being delivered, multiple Covid-19 incidents at Australia Post facilities, 500+ Australia Post staff in isolation, border closures and strike action being taken from other courier services over the last week Australia Post is experiencing delays across its network.
They have taken the unprecedented measure to introduce a 4 day suspension (starting Saturday 4th September) of parcel post collections from businesses in VIC, ACT and NSW in order for them to get through the current back-log of 1,000,000+ parcels. They’ve made some of this news public, which you can read here.
We are working with Australia Post to get parcels moved within the network as quickly as possible. They are also undertaking weekend deliveries to assist in the catch-up. Please note, some parcels may miss scans along the way as Australia Post uses "pop up" facilities to process parcels.
You can check on updates on issues with Australia Post here.
You can view tracking for your order via previous Australia Post emails you will have received.
We apologise for any inconvenience a delay may cause and appreciate your understanding during this unusual time - we've not seen these kinds of delays in all our years of operation.
